Title V Programs

Title V — Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions

Title V of the Higher Education Act provides grants to Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) to expand educational opportunities for Hispanic and low-income students. Our program participates in Title V initiatives to provide additional support services and financial assistance.

Title V Program Benefits

Supplemental Grants

Additional grant funding for eligible students beyond standard Title IV awards.

Academic Support

Tutoring, mentoring, and academic counseling services funded through Title V.

Student Services

Career counseling, transfer assistance, and student success programs.

Cultural Programs

Cultural enrichment and community engagement programs for Hispanic students.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at our Title V-participating institution

Demonstrate financial need (FAFSA required for grant components)

Hispanic/Latino heritage is considered but not exclusively required for all programs

Maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP) as defined by institutional policy

Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen
